Additional deals to the Caribbean include American Airlines’ vacation packages to St. Lucia where you not only get a great deal on air and stay at resorts like Anse Chastanet Resort, Hideaway at Royalton St. Lucia and Jade Mountain Resort, but also 15,000 bonus miles—simply read their guidelines and purchase before February 6 for dates through September 2019.

Whether you snag these particular deals or not, the first quarter of the year is known as a “dead zone” for travel companies.
As founder of AirfareWatchdog.com, George Hobica stated, “The period from now through the middle of February (when school vacations start) is arguably the cheapest time to fly not just within the US but everywhere.”
