A short ride away you’ll reach the world-famous Mayan city of Tulum, a well-preserved remnant of the civilization that thrived more than 500 years ago. The ruins of the city sit on a bluff overlooking the aquamarine waters of the Caribbean, making it one of the most picturesque and popular places on the Mayan Riviera. Walk around the ancient site, imagine the thriving city that once was, and then stroll down to the beach for a dip in the crystal-clear water.
