Visit Chankanaab Beach Adventure Park just south of downtown for an active day of snorkeling or diving the Chankanaab Reef and clear-bottom kayaking, or let the family do the adventuring and kick back in a hammock or at the spa. Exploring the Yucatán Peninsula is a must when visiting Mexico. Catch a boat or ferry to the mainland and take an excursion to the Chichén Itzá or Tulum Mayan ruins for an in-depth look at Mexico’s history.
