In St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Prince Charles met with local school children, as well as held a parrot, the island’s national bird at the Botanical Gardens. The Queen of England is passionate about conservation efforts, so as a kind gesture, her son planted a Soufriere tree at the Botanical Gardens. It was Camilla’s first visit to the island.
