3. Baby Beach
Baby Beach is a stunning bow-shaped stretch of white sand that encloses an aquamarine lagoon with a manmade jetty. It is located on the southern tip of Aruba, less than an hour’s drive from Palm Beach and it takes its name from the very calm and shallow waters that make it an ideal swimming spot for toddlers and timid swimmers alike.
Snorkelers usually head towards the breakwaters’ edge where there are plenty of fish and coral formations to see. You don’t need to worry about bringing your own equipment as everything is available for rent. Keep in mind, however, that there are strong underwater currents outside the lagoon and that you have to stay within the appointed snorkeling area at all times. On the beach, you will also find a snack bar called Big Mama Grill that serves delicious burgers, hot-dogs and seafood platters.
